When was the movie Avatar filmed and how long did it take?
Q. I read this interview online (can't find the website now) where James Cameron said he had started the movie back in 1995. I know it didn't take that long to film the movie. When did it officially start filming with the actors and how long did it take? How long does it take to film motion capture?

A. It's a great movie and the best movie of 2009 but I've realized it's similar to another movie I saw a long time ago without the special effects, 3D stuff it's kinda similar to Dances with Wolves.

Do you think the film Avatar rated 12 is suitable for a 8 and 5 year old to watch?
Q. I haven't seen it but my girls are asking to see it as it's out in all the shops, i'd just like to know if you would let an 8 year old and a 5 year old watch it, before i go and fork out the cash. I have let them watch other 12 rated films / programmes but not sure what this one was like.

A. There are some very frightening scenes of mass killings and destruction of the Na' vi and their lands. Those scenes are dark and pretty scary. The little ones will cry, guaranteed! Stick with PIXAR instead.
